
Description:
A creamy and mildly spiced North Indian curry made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked in a tomato-butter base.
Ingredients:
- 200g paneer (cubed)
- 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Heat butter in a pan and sauté onions until soft.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- Add tomato puree, turmeric, chili powder, and cook until oil separates.
- Add cream, salt, and garam masala.
- Add paneer cubes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan or rice.
