Description:
A creamy and mildly spiced North Indian curry made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked in a tomato-butter base.

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer (cubed)
  • 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter in a pan and sauté onions until soft.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add tomato puree, turmeric, chili powder, and cook until oil separates.
  4. Add cream, salt, and garam masala.
  5. Add paneer cubes and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan or rice.
