
Description:
A simple savory South Indian breakfast made with semolina.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rava (semolina)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- Curry leaves, green chili
- Salt, water (2.5 cups)
- Ghee or oil
Steps:
- Roast rava lightly, keep aside.
- In oil, temper mustard, chili, onion, curry leaves.
- Add water, salt — bring to boil.
- Slowly add rava, stir continuously.
- Cook till fluffy. Serve with chutney.
